Family Favourite: Bread dipped in Olive Oil and Balsamic Vinegar

This is a stand by snack and side dish at our house.  Everyone loves it including the 3 year old and the picky eater 10 year old.  It’s fast, simple, and nutritious.  First pour olive oil onto a plate and then pour the balsamic vinegar on top.  If you’re very lucky it will end up making a funny face like the picture below.  All you need now is some crusty bread cut up into chunks.  We ususally use ciabatta or a bagette.  A bowl of bread chunks and a plate of dip within arms reach and the kids are happy.
